About
Built by someone who has been on both sides of the easel.
I'm Rachel. I'm a figure model and a software developer, and for years those two things ran side by side. Modeling for drawing classes, private studios, and open sessions is how I paid my way through college while I was learning to write code. Every artist who booked me and every studio that put a check in my hand helped fund the career I have today.
But the industry that supported me so well still runs on texts, personal connections, and a lot of guesswork. Models have no reliable way to be found by new artists other than word of mouth, and no real way to check who they're agreeing to sit for.
And it cuts both ways. I've watched an artist pay for studio time, gather a group of twelve, and lose the whole session to a model who never showed, or who couldn't hold a pose for ten minutes. If models deserve to know who they're sitting for, artists deserve to know who they're hiring. So Muse rates both directions.
Eventually I got tired of wishing something like this existed and started building it. On Muse, models set their own terms, artists can book with confidence, and everyone's reputation is out in the open where it belongs.

Every rating on Muse is earned from a completed booking, and it runs in both directions. Artists can see exactly who they're hiring. Models can see exactly who they're sitting for.
For artists

- Your email and phone stay private until you accept a request. Declining shares nothing at all.
- Set your own travel radius, rates, availability, and specialties. You decide what work reaches you.
- Decline anything, for any reason, with no explanation owed to anyone.
- Rate the artist afterward on professionalism, studio conditions, and more.
